With its first presentation in 2008 only for the Japanese market, this impressive diving watch gained a place in the global Prospex collection in 2020. Seiko fans have called it "Shogun", which in Japanese means "General", because of its imposing appearance. Its design has elements reminiscent of the uniform and helmet of a "Shogun", while it consists of triangular notches for easy rotation of the rim and a special scale on it. Although reminiscent of a heavy, bulky watch, the model is essentially lighter due to the titanium that is its main construction material, making it ideal for everyday use. The model also has a dial arrangement that maximizes readability and a 70 hour power reserve with the 6R35 mechanism.
